Abstract

At a time of uncertainty in our energy infrastructure and systems, where many existing forecasts are characterized by wishful thinking, DNV GL’s Energy Transition Outlook provides an independent forecast of the energy future looking at global energy demand and supply through to 2050 distributed over 10 regions. With a special focus on renewables, power and energy use, the report will highlight the key changes that will take place in the next five years and present the implications for the industry including the wind and solar sectors, TSOs, DSOs, manufacturers, investors, cities and end users.
