On behalf of The Society of Electrical, Electronics & Energy engineers in Israel, it is an honor and a great pleasureto welcome you to “Electricity & Energy 2022”, the International Convention in Eilat.

This 22nd Annual Convention is one of the biggest engineering events in Israel that hosts this year 2000 engineers, scientists, and professionals from 500 companies, industries, academic institutes, and government ministries from Israel and overseas.

The convention program includes nine plenary sessions, four workshops and seven parallel tracks consisting of 30 sessions in which more than 170 professional lectures will be presented. The plenary sessions in the Convention will focus on the Trends in the International Energy Markets, Renewable Energy and E-Transportation, Challenges of Entrepreneurship in the Energy Sector, Mega Projects in Israel, Innovation in the Electricity and Energy.

An important part of the Convention is the annual conference of energy and air conditioning engineers which is built on a track with 8 professional sessions.

According to a long-standing tradition, this year the SEEEI Society is also hosting 100 students from the academic departments of electrical and energy engineering in Israel as part of the Convention and organizes a special program for them including an employment meeting and a professional group competition.

In the trade show, held during the Convention, more than 80 leading Israeli and global companies will present a range of advanced electrical instruments, equipment and innovative technologies.

I would like to express my warm thanks to all those who have helped to make this year’s event possible.

I hope that this Convention will contribute to the progress of the engineering community and will promote and enable favorable opportunities of professional and business contacts in the future.

The annual Convention "Electricity & Energy 2022" of the Society of Electrical, Electronics, and Energy engineers in Israel is a prominent and essential event for all the practitioners in the field.

כThis international conference brings a series of innovation and entrepreneurship every year, and for many, it is an extensive platform for creating professional and business collaborations.

2,000 participants are expected to attend the conference and it is intended for engineers and businessmen in the field of electricity, energy and air conditioning, senior executives from leading companies in the field, industry and academia researchers, government authorities, decision-makers, guests from abroad, and electrical and energy engineering students.

During the convention, above 170 lectures will be presented at a high professional level in the fields of electrical engineering, air-conditioning systems, renewable energy, electrical transportation & infrastructure, energy & regulation, cyber protection, industrial control, lighting, and network management.
